Politubes produces a wide range of multilayer tubes and end caps designed to:

1. Protect and insulate thermal protectors – thermistors in electric motor cable harnesses
2. Hold together and protect lead-out wires from damage

The choice of film to use for spiral wound tubes and end caps for these applications depends on the thermal class of the motor, starting from class B up to class H.
As spiral wound tubes and end caps are multilayer, different films can be added to a single tube or endcap, to combine their thermal and mechanical properties in a single product.
